Rooted in exploration and built with intention, the H k le’a Paepae honors the spirit of voyaging and the legacy of the H k le’a canoe. Inspired by the journeys of the Polynesian voyagers, this sandal brings cultural storytelling to life through thoughtful design. Featuring embroidery inspired by the stitching of traditional sails and a toe badge crafted from actual H k le’a sailcloth, every step tells a story. A full-grain leather-wrapped midsole is laser-etched with a map of the canoe’s journeys, while non-marking rubber pods on the outsole provide traction wherever you go.
